Softer Aesthetics and Muted Tones
At Watches & Wonders Geneva 2025, Rolex revealed updates to its Oyster Perpetual lineup, introducing softer pastel hues and a refined design. The vibrant, eye-catching dials—including the fan-favorite Celebration dial—are now discontinued. Instead, Rolex presents matte lacquer dials in lavender, beige, and pistachio, emphasizing subtle elegance and wearability.
New Reference for the 41mm
While the collection still includes five sizes (28mm, 31mm, 34mm, 36mm, and 41mm), the 41mm version (ref. 134300) stands out with a redesigned case, a slightly larger crown, and a slimmer clasp. These updates give it a more balanced, streamlined look, closer to the classic 36mm model.
Specifications and Movements
Rolex continues using Oystersteel and smooth bezels across the range, offering 100 meters of water resistance, sapphire crystals, and screw-down crowns. The smaller sizes (28–34mm) use the Caliber 2232 with a 55-hour power reserve, while the 36mm and 41mm versions feature the Caliber 3230 with a 70-hour power reserve.
Bracelet and Finishing Touches
Each watch is fitted with the brushed three-link Oyster bracelet, secured by the standard Oysterclasp with an Easylink extension. Unlike polished bracelets on other Rolex models, the Oyster Perpetual maintains an understated brushed finish.
Pricing and Positioning
As Rolex’s entry-level offering, the Oyster Perpetual remains relatively affordable. Prices range from $5,650 for the 28mm model to $6,500 for the updated 41mm. With dial changes and minor design tweaks, most of the lineup remains consistent with previous models in terms of functionality and cost.
