The case, crafted from durable stainless steel with sapphire crystals on both sides, continues to house the brand’s patented case suspension system and guarantees 100 meters of water resistance. These include a more robust screw-down crown for added security and an improved butterfly-style clasp for the steel bracelet. This advanced clasp now incorporates a sophisticated extension system, allowing for 6mm of tool-free, on-the-wrist adjustment for a perfect fit.

Beyond the external refinements, the 2026 Essence 39mm boasts a significant internal upgrade. The timepiece is now powered by the Sellita SW200-2 Power+ automatic movement. While based on the familiar SW200-1 architecture, this caliber features reworked components for greater efficiency. The result is a substantial increase in power reserve to 65 hours, a tangible improvement over the previous generation. Each movement is COSC-certified, assuring chronometer-grade accuracy. At launch, the watch is available in three striking dial colors: Formex’s signature Blue, a crisp Alpine White, and a warm Radiant Bronze.
