Doxa Unveils the SUB 250T GMT: A Long-Awaited Release for 2025

March 26th 2025

For nearly two decades, Doxa fans have been eagerly awaiting a GMT-equipped dive watch. Since the limited-edition SUB 750T GMT launched in 2006, the brand had not offered a GMT model—until now. The newly released Doxa SUB 250T GMT delivers exactly what collectors have been asking for, combining dual-time functionality with the brand’s signature midsize diver aesthetics.

A Modern Take on the Doxa GMT

The SUB 250T GMT builds upon the midsize SUB 200T rather than the original 750T GMT. With a 40mm stainless steel case, a thickness of 10.85mm, and a water resistance of 250 meters, this new model is slightly larger than its three-handed counterpart. Its added case size allows for increased durability while maintaining the familiar cushion-case profile that defines Doxa divers.

A GMT Built for Divers

Despite the added complication, the watch stays true to Doxa’s heritage as a serious dive watch. It features a screw-down crown, a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, and a unidirectional dual-scale bezel, making it a true diver’s tool. The GMT functionality is integrated via an angled 24-hour chapter ring and an independently adjustable GMT hand.

Nine Colorways and a Vintage-Inspired Option

The SUB 250T GMT launches in nine distinct colorways, including classic Doxa options like Professional (orange), Sharkhunter (black), Caribbean (navy blue), and Aquamarine (turquoise). Additionally, a new vintage-themed Sharkhunter features a brown-to-black gradient dial, a first for Doxa, inspired by early Sharkhunter models.

Movement and Pricing

Powered by a Sellita SW330 automatic movement, the SUB 250T GMT offers 50 hours of power reserve. Buyers can choose between a beads-of-rice stainless steel bracelet or a color-matched FKM rubber strap. Pricing starts at $2,450 on rubber and $2,490 on steel.

Doxa has delivered exactly what fans have been asking for—a true dive watch with GMT functionality.
