Vacheron Constantin Unveils the Most Complex Overseas Watch to Date

May 15th 2025

Celebrating Innovation at 270 Years

At Watches & Wonders Geneva, Vacheron Constantin made headlines with a series of Traditionnelle and Patrimony releases. Yet, a noticeable omission from the Overseas collection left collectors wondering. That silence was broken with a dramatic statement: the launch of the Overseas Grand Complication Openface, a model that sets a new benchmark for the brand’s modern sports watches.

Technical Mastery in Titanium

This masterpiece (Ref. 6510V/110T-128C) arrives in a 44.5mm case crafted from Grade 5 titanium and showcases a trio of finishes—brushed, polished, and sandblasted. The bezel’s unique texture blends the iconic Maltese Cross design with a refined contrast between polished and sandblasted surfaces, a hallmark exclusive to titanium Overseas models.

A Showcase of Complications

Packed inside is the Caliber 2755 QP manual-wind movement featuring a minute repeater, perpetual calendar, and one-minute tourbillon. The transparent sapphire dial offers a front-row seat to the movement’s inner workings, complete with metallic blue accents and luminous 18k white-gold markers. Flip the watch over, and you’ll discover the hand-finished 18k white-gold centripetal regulator visible beneath a sapphire caseback—an engineering marvel that controls the minute repeater’s rhythm with centrifugal weights.

Wrist Versatility and Collectability

Designed with Vacheron’s quick-release system, the watch includes a titanium bracelet, plus both rubber and alligator leather straps, each with a swappable clasp. With this debut, the Overseas Grand Complication Openface officially becomes the collection’s new flagship.

An Undisclosed Price for Unmatched Prestige

As with many grand complications, pricing remains undisclosed—but collectors can safely assume it surpasses all previous Overseas models. This is not just a watch; it’s a celebration of 270 years of horological excellence.
