Miami GP: A Hotbed for Horological Hype

Although it only debuted in 2022, the Miami Grand Prix has quickly cemented itself as a stylish stop on the Formula One calendar. Beyond the action on track, it’s become an epicenter for exclusive team gear, limited-edition drops, and—most notably—highly coveted watch releases. In 2025, Tudor has taken center stage with what may be its most daring Miami tribute yet.

Introducing the Tudor Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 25”

The standout release for this year’s event is the Tudor Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 25”, a radical redesign of the brand’s flagship racing chronograph. Encased in lightweight, visually distinctive carbon fiber, the watch delivers both a new silhouette and personality. Its 42mm width and 14.3mm thickness may seem minor in difference, but the feel is radically distinct—especially thanks to the material’s featherweight nature and sleek matte finish.

Case and Bezel: A Reinvention in Carbon

Tudor diverges from its usual aesthetic by adopting a single-piece carbon tachymeter bezel. Unlike traditional forged carbon, this carbon fiber features a linear, brushed-like finish, maintaining visual continuity with the rest of the Black Bay line while offering modern flair.

A Racing Machine on the Wrist

The rear of the watch features a black PVD titanium caseback engraved with the 2025 VCARB F1 car. Water-resistant to 200 meters and powered by the COSC-certified MT5813 movement, this limited edition (just 2,025 units) blends performance and panache effortlessly.

Priced at $7,575 USD, the Tudor Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 25” is available now through authorized dealers—a true celebration of motorsport and mechanical art.
