March 31st 2025
After much speculation, Watches & Wonders Geneva 2025 has confirmed the debut of the Rolex Land-Dweller, officially named the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller. This new collection brings several firsts for the brand, making it one of the most exciting Rolex releases in recent years.
A Bridge Between Sporty and Classic
The Land-Dweller is positioned between the traditional Datejust and the sporty Professional series. Featuring an integrated bracelet, it carries a more modern aesthetic while maintaining a thin case and refined movement, making it a perfect mix of sporty and dressy. Rolex offers the Land-Dweller in White Rolesor (steel & 18k white gold), Everose gold, and platinum. It is available in 40mm and 36mm sizes, both with 100-meter water resistance.
Exclusive Dial & Bracelet Features
Rolex introduces a honeycomb-patterned dial, crafted using femtosecond laser technology, with Chromalight luminescence for superior low-light readability. The watch is paired with the Flat Jubilee bracelet, a modern take on the vintage Oysterquartz design, featuring a concealed Crownclasp.
Innovative Calibre 7135 & Transparent Caseback
Marking another first, the Land-Dweller features a transparent caseback, showcasing the all-new Rolex Calibre 7135. It debuts the Dynapulse escapement, an advanced double-wheel system designed for improved efficiency and durability. Running at 5Hz with a 66-hour power reserve, this movement represents a major step forward in Rolex’s watchmaking innovation.
Pricing & Availability
Starting at $13,900 USD for the 36mm White Rolesor, prices go up to $63,500 USD for the 40mm platinum version. With its striking design and technical innovations, the Rolex Land-Dweller is set to be one of the most sought-after watches of 2025.
