TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Adorns Tom Holland's Wrist at the Monaco Grand Prix
Starting from 2011, TAG Heuer has proudly served as the official watch partner for the Monaco Grand Prix. This year, the renowned brand extended its invitation to a select group of prominent individuals, among them the talented actor Tom Holland, widely recognized for his role in "Spider-Man: Homecoming."
Attending the esteemed F1 event alongside his family members, Holland enjoyed an array of exciting experiences. He had the honor of waving the checkered flag and spent time socializing with members of the Red Bull Racing team in their garage and paddock. The actor also had the opportunity to watch the race alongside fellow VIPs, including Maria Sharapova and Orlando Bloom.
Throughout the festivities, Holland displayed his impeccable style, donning a green short-sleeved button-down shirt, a tank top, khaki trousers, and, naturally, the exquisite TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph. This remarkable timepiece, priced at $6,450, boasts a black ceramic bezel and a black dial adorned with three subdials and hour markers.
Crafted in celebration of the Carrera line's 60th anniversary, the watch is encased in a polished steel 39 mm case. It is available with either a black or a blue dial, complemented by matching calfskin straps. The reverse panda design is embellished with three silver "azure" counters, and the main dial features a 60-second scale and a tachymeter scale along the tension ring—an innovative concept introduced by Jack Heuer when he conceived the first Carrera model.
Recently, TAG Heuer unveiled a trio of Monaco watches in honor of the 2023 edition of the Grand Prix. These timepieces, available in Original Blue, Racing Red, and Turquoise, exhibit skeletonized dials and are encased in sandblasted grade 2 titanium 39 mm cases.
The trio is powered by TAG Heuer's in-house Heuer 02 movement, paying homage to the original movement used in the TAG Heuer Monaco from the 1970s. Activated by a column wheel, this automatic caliber, visible through the open caseback, provides an impressive 80-hour power reserve and ensures water resistance of up to 100 meters.

TAG Heuer Celebrates Victory at Monaco Grand Prix with Three New Monaco Chronograph Models
Following its triumphant win at the F1 Monaco Grand Prix in partnership with Team Oracle Red Bull Racing, TAG Heuer is delighted to unveil three fresh editions of its iconic Monaco chronograph, each featuring captivating skeleton dials—an unprecedented addition to the Monaco collection. These extraordinary timepieces come in three distinct dial options: original blue, racing red, and turquoise, all housed within titanium cases.
The original blue dial pays homage to the inaugural 1969 TAG Heuer Monaco edition. Embracing a captivating blue and red color scheme, the watch showcases red hands and blue markers, subdials, and indexes, adorned with white lacquer and coated with blue Super-LumiNova for enhanced visibility. Creatively, the column wheel and rotor on the caseback side are accentuated with a touch of blue.
The racing red version pays tribute to the Monaco's rich racing heritage, with the color red symbolizing the sparks ignited on the tracks. In this rendition, the column wheel and rotor on the rear side proudly display a vibrant red hue.
The turquoise timepiece offers an avant-garde interpretation of the Monaco design, featuring turquoise accents on the subdial outlines and indexes. This unique variant also draws inspiration from the Mediterranean waters off the coast of the Principality of Monaco. Similarly, the column wheel and rotor showcase a mesmerizing turquoise shade. The titanium case is elegantly coated in black DLC.
All three models house the remarkable in-house movement caliber Heuer 02, a column wheel chronograph boasting an impressive 80-hour power reserve. The hands and indexes are treated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring excellent legibility in various lighting conditions. Each timepiece is paired with a bi-material strap thoughtfully crafted from rubber and leather, available in either black or blue.
During the race weekend, TAG Heuer was honored to host numerous esteemed guests and VIPs, including brand ambassador Wi Ha Jun, tennis legend Maria Sharapova, actors Tom Holland and Louis Patridge, and model Sara Sampaio. Notable attendees also included French rapper Hatik and boxer Conor McGregor. Furthermore, the Oracle Red Bull drivers Max Verstappen, who achieved a remarkable first-place victory, Sergio Perez, and Daniel Ricciardo were present to celebrate the event.
