If you’re overwhelmed by the steel sports watch trend, Omega has an exciting alternative: the Seamaster Diver 300M in titanium and bronze gold. This watch breaks free from the norm, combining unique materials and design to stand out in a sea of integrated-bracelet steel offerings.
Materials That Make a Statement
The case, bracelet, and clasp are crafted from grade 2 titanium, prized for its lightweight, corrosion resistance, and extreme durability. Omega complements this with its exclusive Bronze Gold for the crown, helium escape valve, and bezel. Unlike traditional bronze, Bronze Gold maintains its patina without the unsightly green oxidation. It’s also nickel-free and iron-free, enhancing its hypoallergenic and anti-magnetic properties.
For a vintage-inspired twist, Omega uses oxalic anodized aluminum for the dial and bezel insert instead of its usual ceramic. While aluminum offers a retro charm, it’s a bold departure from the glossy, scratch-resistant ceramic we’ve come to expect.
Design Highlights
The watch features a green textured dial paired with “vintage Super-LumiNova” on the blackened indexes and diving scale, creating a harmonious blend of beige, green, and Bronze Gold tones. Measuring 42mm wide, 49.7mm lug-to-lug, and 13.8mm thick, the Seamaster Diver 300M boasts well-balanced proportions and a water resistance of up to 300 meters.
Inside the Seamaster
Visible through the sapphire caseback is the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806. This METAS-certified movement offers exceptional performance, including magnetic resistance up to 15,000 gauss, a 55-hour power reserve, and a silicon balance wheel.
Pricing and Options
The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M is available for $9,900 USD on a rubber strap and $10,700 USD on a titanium mesh bracelet. This striking watch offers a refreshing take on dive watch design with innovative materials and standout aesthetics.
