Last year, Hublot collaborated with British artist and designer Samuel Ross to create a striking and unique version of the Big Bang Tourbillon. The original piece featured a highly skeletonized design with a honeycomb-shaped frame and a vibrant orange colorway. It was produced as a limited edition of 50 pieces.
For 2023, Hublot and Samuel Ross have released a follow-up edition to the original model. The new Hublot Big Bang Tourbillon SR_A by Samuel Ross features a monochromatic gray case that is paired with interchangeable straps in three different colors: black, white, and neon green.
The case of the new watch is made from micro-blasted titanium. It has the same dimensions and specifications as the original model, measuring 44mm in diameter and 13.75mm thick. The case is water resistant to 30 meters and features sapphire crystals on both the front and back.
The movement inside the new Hublot Big Bang Tourbillon SR_A by Samuel Ross is the same in-house Caliber HUB6035 automatic movement that is used in the original model and other Big Bang Tourbillon watches. The movement has a frequency of 21,600vph (3Hz) and a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. It features a tourbillon at 6 o'clock and a micro-rotor at 12 o'clock.
The new Hublot Big Bang Tourbillon SR_A by Samuel Ross is a limited edition of 50 pieces. It has an official retail price of $127,000 USD.
